Crispy French Toast Sticks

Ingredients

2 cups Waffle Crisp Cereal (or your favorite cereal- We love Croc-O-Crunch)

1/2 cup 2% Milk

2 tsp Imitation Vanilla

1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

8 slices Bread

1 jug Light Syrup

1 cup Spread - 1 Lb. Tub

Directions
  1. Preheat griddle or skillet over medium high heat.

  2. Place cereal crumbs in a shallow dish. In a medium shallow dish beat eggs, milk, extract, and cinnamon. Dip 4 bread sticks at a time into egg mixture then into cereal coating both sides.

  3. Butter griddle. Place coated sticks on buttered griddle. Continue with remaining sticks.

  4. Cook 3-5 minutes per side or until golden. Serve with warmed syrup for dipping

Notes

Great to do with your kids! They love smashing the cereal!
