Pumpkin Bread

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup chopped Pecans or Walnuts (optional)

  • 1 1/2cups chocolate chips (optional)

  • 1/4 tsp Clove

  • 1 tsp Ginger

  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp Iodized Salt

  • 1 tsp Baking Soda

  • 1 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour

  • 1/3 cup 2% Milk

  • 1 cup Canned Pumpkin

  • 2 Grade A Large Eggs

  • 1 tsp Nutmeg

DIRECTIONS

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray loaf pan with non-stick spray.

  • Mix sugar and oil first, then add eggs and mix well. Next, add milk and pumpkin.

  • In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove. Add to pumpkin mix, mixing well. Then, add pecans. Pour batter in pan.

  • Bake for 60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for about ten minutes before removing from pan.
